She has always worked with animals, on her family’s farm or at the vet clinic. Jamie enjoys interacting with clients, pets, and livestock. Jamie is interested in helping the future farming youth by volunteering with the 4-H program. She has several pets and a cow herd, which she hopes to expand.
Jessica, Veterinary Assistant
Jessica has been with the Walcott Veterinary Clinic since 2010, and is working on her Veterinary Nursing Degree through Purdue University. She enjoys being able to help animals, and that each day at the clinic brings something new. Outside of work, she loves making memories with her daughter and spoiling her senior dog, Russell.
Kayla’s favorite aspect of for working at the Walcott Vet Clinic is that you never know what’s going to happen in a work day. She is a wife and mother of two beautiful daughters who are involved a bunch of school activities. Her time away from work mostly consists of running the girls to or watching their events. Her family includes two pets dogs and a cat. Kayla grew up in Walcott and loves it here!
Shaya, Office Assistant
Shaya began professionally working with animals when she joined the Walcott Veterinary Clinic team. Her favorite part of her job is helping find the right course of action for the patient. She is interested not only in the world of veterinary medicine, but also in conservation. Shaya has one dog, Sadie, and three cats, Bagheera, Lenny, and Stitch, but cares for many others who either don’t have a home or are just traveling through. Sadie, a rescue, was brought into the family as a puppy and has stolen everyone’s hearts (and cheese) ever since.
